eBay pushes buyers to paypal…

Over at Auction Tips they mention that:

eBay will double PayPal Buyer Protection on its site,
offering up to $2,000 of coverage for qualified transactions
on eBay.com, but is eliminating buyer-protection for
non-PayPal transactions.

Which will effectively push buyers to use paypal because of the lack of protection with other forms of payment.  If you are a seller, this also pushes you to use paypal because it’s what the buyers will demand.

So this way you get stuck with 2 sets of fees, the eBay fees (which have just gone up) and the paypal fees.  :(  To read more visit the Auction Tips blog.
