I just getting by paycheck to paycheck I have 4 1/2 years of sobriety under my belt I'm workng the "twele step program." I owe $49813 to the IRS in back taxes, When I was drinking and using I never took care ot the tax issues.I have been tried to do a offer in compromise on my own. The IRS denied me. In 2004, I hired as company out of Las Vegas to help me do the offer. by taking a a loan against my 401k, Only to be ripped off. The IRS has denied the offer in copromise a third time. May of 2006 the IRS levied my bank account leaving me with $5 dollars inmy checking. I'm currently out of work on short term disability do to have my neck fused at C5-6-7 February 22nd. I will be returning to work May 1st. I do not make enough money to take care of child support and my own rent. Now all the doctors bills stacking up. When I start work again the IRS is going to take everything leaving with $358 every two weeks. This not even enough to pay my rent I'm not one to ask anyone for anything. But if any one can help me.
