I have been approached by bidvertiser to do a review of their site and their service.. so here it is!

Firstly, up until recently, Bidvertiser’s main focus was pay-per-click, very similar to the adsense ads that you see on this site.. in fact it is at first glance difficult to tell them apart.   Feedback around the web about bidvertiser has been mixed, but for those that are not eligible for Google Adsense for whatever reason, Bidvertiser is a good choice.

Bidvertiser’s new program, is, however, something else completely and is a very exciting concept.  In a nutshell, eBay sellers can push the items they are selling out as Pay per click advertisements.. so instead of seeing an adblock, you see an item for auction on eBay.  As eBay is a very trusted name out there in the wonderful world wide web, you can expect, as a website owner publishing ads, a pretty good click-through rate on these ads.

 As a advertiser or a publisher, your ads are created automatically, so you don’t have to mess with code or layouts, and include an image, the description and the current bid of the items, as well as a counter until the auction ends.

This is a unique concept, the only thing that really comes close is Auction Ads, but with Auction Ads, you only get paid if someone buys the item they have seen advertised on your site.  This way you get paid simply be referring folks through to the eBay item.

For eBay sellers, this open up a whole new way of advertising your eBay auctions on the web.  I can really see this taking off in a huge way amongst the eBay seller community as it has the potential to be extremely far reaching.  If all my readers who are eBay sellers want to give this a go, Bidvertiser has been nice enough to let use have $20 worth of click each for FREE.  I’m just in the process of trying to sign up with them.. the site has experienced a few problems (possibly because of the rush to get these free advertising impressions.)
